On a recent visit to Santander, me and my husband spent many an afternoon or evening sat on the tables outside. (Next door to our hotel.)
The prices were very reasonable and table service was offered without asking.
The lady and her husband who own it were both lovely. Her English is amazing if you are struggling with your Spanish.
We sampled many of the little sandwiches on offer and they were all nice.

És un local bonic on la dependenta és súper simpatica i fa les begudes al teu gust preguntant tot al detall. No com aquells bars que ja et fiquen la llimona sense consultar.

La comida riquísima, cocinada con cariño y con productos de mucha calidad.
Qué decir de la bodega!!!! Carta de vinos más que suficiente , con vinos bien escogidos y de mucha calidad sin precios disparatados
El local consigue un ambiente acogedor con música que , sin ser molesta , consigue estar presente de forma muy agradable.
En definitiva, comida excelente, cocinada con oficio a la que acompañan el buen hacer del personal y el ambiente acogedor.

It's immediately obvious that the professional intrusion that does so much damage to quality hospitality is superfluous in this restaurant. We were served by Javi and Jordi, two "titans" of the trade, friendly and extremely attentive. The food was delicious, cooked with love and using high-quality products. What can I say about the wine cellar! The wine list is more than adequate, with well-chosen, high-quality wines without outrageous prices. The place creates a cozy atmosphere with music that, without being annoying, manages to be very pleasant. In short, excellent food, expertly cooked, accompanied by the good work of the staff and the welcoming atmosphere. We will definitely be back!

Un placer encontrar lugares así en el mismo centro de la ciudad. Unas tortillas increíbles, especialmente la de pimientos, una gran rica y variada barra de pinchos y un trato súper familiar de los dueños Joaquín y Virginia. It's a pleasure to find places like this right in the city center. Incredible tortillas, especially the pepper tortilla, a great and varied tapas bar, and super friendly service from the owners, Joaquín and Virginia. I'll definitely be back, and I highly recommend it in every way. By the way, if you use the bathroom, you can use it without any problem... obviously, the bathroom is for guests' use... 10/10, guys! Thanks!
Al menos 3 veces por semana desayuno aquí. Trabajo en el centro y puedo elegir sin problema, pero trato es muy bueno y suelo pillar la tortilla recién hecha y humeando. Yo no lo cambio por nada.
